Who am I?
In my career as a firefighter/paramedic, I've seen the best and worst of humanity. I've seen the joy of new life and the devastation of death. I've seen the resilience of the human spirit and the fragility of life.
I've also seen the toll that trauma can take on first responders. I've seen the nightmares, the flashbacks, the anxiety, and the depression. I've seen the toll it takes on relationships, careers, and lives.
I know trauma. I've seen it firsthand, and I've experienced it myself. And I want you to know that you're not alone. If you're struggling with PTSD, please reach out for help. There are people who care about you and want to help you heal.

Oh, and did I mention the circus I call home? Yeah, when I'm not putting out fires (literally and figuratively), I'm wrangling four little princesses, including a set of twins. It's a constant battle of glitter, giggles, and the occasional existential crisis (mostly mine). But hey, who needs therapy when you have four tiny humans reminding you that the world is a beautiful, messy, and utterly unpredictable place?
